Understanding Rejection Sensitivity Dysphoria (RSD) & Neurodivergence
Living as a neurodivergent individual often comes with unique challenges, one of which is Rejection Sensitivity Dysphoria (RSD). RSD is an extreme emotional sensitivity and pain triggered by experiencing rejection —real or perceived— of being criticized, or not meeting others’ expectations.This intense sensitivity can lead to patterns of people-pleasing, burnout, and further feelings of isolation and rejection.
